Pensacola Catholic fell 46-39 to the Warriors on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Pensacola Catholic of the 48-37 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture last Saturday.
Pensacola Catholic lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Maddie Hammergren, who scored 12 points along with two blocks. Jenecia Swindell was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Pensacola Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pensacola Catholic will take on the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. L.E.A.D. Academy is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against the Hurricanes at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
