The Peyton Panthers and the St. Mary's Academy Wildcats will face off  at 12:00  p.m.  on March 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Peyton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Peyton had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They breezed by the Lions at home  to the tune of  90-13. Peyton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18  matches by 20  points or more this season.
  AJ Mannering continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 41 points. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Peyton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abbie Nickell, who  scored 18 points.
 Meanwhile,  it may have taken  overtime to finish the job, but St. Mary's Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a  57-55  victory over The Vanguard School. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
 Peyton's victory was  their tenth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 21-0. They've been dominating during the  matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 59.7 points. As for St. Mary's Academy, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record  this season.
