GISA 1A recap Sept. 26, 2012
David Emanuel Academy was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to third in GISA 1A. The Eagles defeated First Presbyterian Christian Academy 46-29 earlier in the week.
Bethlehem Christian Academy and Central Fellowship Christian Academy played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Bethlehem Christian Academy eventually emerging with a 31-26 victory.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Dawson Street Christian takes on Jefferson Academy. The Wildcats are currently in fifth, while the Jaguars are in first.
Jefferson Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,004 from 9,748. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 46-12 victory over Fullington Academy last week.
