The Fullerton Indians will take on the Segerstrom Jaguars at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Segerstrom took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Fullerton, who comes in off a win.
Fullerton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over Ocean View on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Analise Barrios tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 6.2 innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Hayley Brock, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ava Flores, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Fullerton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .378. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ocean View only posted a batting average of .185.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Segerstrom's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They lost 14-6 to Kennedy.
Segerstrom saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Fraser, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.
Segerstrom's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Fullerton, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
Segerstrom's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Fullerton has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Segerstrom, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Fullerton keep running through batters, or will the Jaguars buck the trend?
Fullerton beat Segerstrom 9-5 when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
