The Midwest Central Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight loss. They took a 57-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Delavan. Midwest Central has not had much luck with Delavan recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Alex Seaton was nothing short of spectacular for Delavan: he scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Seaton has scored all season. Micah Brockhouse was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Midwest Central's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Delavan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midwest Central will take on Mt. Pulaski at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Delavan, they will be playing at home against Illini Bluffs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Illini Bluffs will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Delavan surely won't give up without a fight.
