The Ulysses Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 65-58 to Pine Creek. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Friday (55), Ulysses still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pine Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyler Chatman, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Blake Marshall, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Ulysses has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Pine Creek, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ulysses will take on Wichita County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pine Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. Vista Ridge is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
