Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Gloucester County Christian Conquerors  a   4-0 shutout  on Tuesday. The  win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Conquerors: they've now won three in a row.
 Ethan Costello made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Costello was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last five games he's  played.

Atlantic Christian's record now sits at 12-6. As for Gloucester County Christian, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record  this season.
 Coincidentally, Atlantic Christian and Gloucester County Christian will both be playing King's Christian the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Knights at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday, while the Conquerors will head out to face them  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
