Mount Airy Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since November 17, 2023 on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 38-18 walloping at the hands of Rockbridge Academy. Mount Airy Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-3.
Despite the loss, Mount Airy Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Reaghan Sizemore scored seven points.
This is the second loss in a row for Mount Airy Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-12. As for Rockbridge Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
