There's no place like home for the Middleton Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Halls 45-9 at home on Friday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Middleton has scored all year.
Middleton found their leader in underclassman Laila Buggs, who scored eight points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty'angela Geanes, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Middleton pushed their record up to 12-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Halls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Clarksburg the next time they take the court. Middleton will host the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
