The American Heritage Stallions will face off against the Palmetto Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. American Heritage will be strutting in after a win while Palmetto will be coming in after a loss.
American Heritage proved they can win big on Monday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past IMG Academy Gold 4-3.

American Heritage got a great performance from Brady Snow as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts Snow has posted since back in February.
At the plate, American Heritage saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Ashley, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Ashley is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Palmetto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Coral Springs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since April 19, 2024.
Palmetto also got a good showing from Michael Acosta, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Furthermore, Acosta didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February.
On the hitting side, Sebastian Hernandez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jack Gordon, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Even though they lost, Palmetto kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
American Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. Palmetto's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
American Heritage came out on top in a nail-biter against Palmetto in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for American Heritage since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
