Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Blackhawk sidestepped North Catholic for an 8-7 victory.
Luca Dilonardo was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Stephen Knallay was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
Blackhawk's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for West Allegheny, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
