6A District 7 recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 6A District 7 this week, Scott County beat Seneca 56-20. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.
Scott County took down the Red Hawks 56-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kevin Claussen ran for 126 yards in the win.
Jim McKee's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Clay Mckee threw for 85 and 1 touchdown and Grayson Miller had 45 yards receiving. On the ground Claussen chipped in 126 yards. Clark Griffith helped Scott County's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 36 yards.
Claussen provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Cardinals topped Seneca. Claussen's favorite target this week was Miller, who caught 2 passes for 45 yards.
Mckee put up the best numbers through the air as Scott County defeated lavell boyd's team.
Scott County's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Mckee has thrown for 873 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while Scott Daniel has 30 catches for 453 yards.
The Cardinals led the league in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on the Red Hawks. Claussen during the win.
