Tommy Digregorio Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, St. Joseph-by-the-Sea got the W thanks in part to Tommy Digregorio playing the best football he has all season. Digregorio rushed for 273 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.3) per game. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
St. Joseph-by-the-Sea is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Digregorio and St. Joseph-by-the-Sea will square off against Kennedy Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Bowers As St. John the Baptist Won 49-12
Maxwell Bowers helped snap St. John the Baptist's three-game losing streak. Bowers turned in nothing short of a gem on Saturday, throwing for 179 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 50 yards.
This season, Bowers has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 144.2 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 91.17 passing yards per game.

Aruta might have his next game, a home matchup with Fordham Prep, circled on his calendar. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Aruta saw the Rams), he rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
