Having just played yesterday, the Rogers Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Cranston West Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Rogers faced Burrillville in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Rogers came out on top against Burrillville by a score of 56-44.
Meanwhile, Cranston West scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Times Squared Academy 71-50. The win was a breath of fresh air for Cranston West as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Rogers is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Cranston West, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Rogers and Cranston West were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but Rogers came up empty-handed after a 48-47 defeat. Can Rogers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
