The Kingsway Christian Eagles lost against the Gilead Christian Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Kingsway Christian was beaten by Gilead Christian 53-19. Kingsway Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-4.
Taylor Bischoff was Kingsway Christian's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Bischoff also led the team in rebounds with ten.
Kingsway Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Gilead Christian, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingsway Christian will face off against Temple Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gilead Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Granville Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st.
