There's no place like home for Lampeter-Strasburg, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Susquehannock Warriors with a sharp  10-0 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won 11 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
Not much got past  Natalie Hill, who gave up just  five  hits and racked up six Ks to keep Susquehannock off the board. Hill has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Paige Baxter, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Lampeter-Strasburg has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Susquehannock, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-6.
As of now, neither Lampeter-Strasburg nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
