Last Thursday, Butte Valley had to suffer through a 55-8 loss at the hands of Tulelake. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Honkers recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Tulelake found their leader in underclassman Max Robison, who rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Robison also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making three total tackles (1.0 for loss). Danny Garcia was another key player, gaining 104 total yards and four touchdowns.
Tulelake wouldn't let Butte Valley keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Robison, Garcia, and Alex Garcia picked up one apiece. Danny got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 60 yards.
Butte Valley took a serious blow against Tulelake in their previous matchup on Thursday, falling 55-8. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Butte Valley was down 48-0.
