Volleyball Recap: Kimberly Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Emma Tesch and Finley Van Lannen

Kimberly's tournament run continued when they took on Wauwatosa East on Friday. The Papermakers fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 2-1.

Kimberly's loss came despite strong showings from Finley Van Lannen and Emma Tesch. Van Lannen had 21 digs and three assists, while Tesch had 15 assists and seven digs. Van Lannen is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Kimberly's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Wauwatosa East, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Kimberly has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against West Bend West on the 29th. As for Wauwatosa East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Catholic Memorial on the 29th.
