Sublette fell to Oakley 70-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Cimarron led Hi-Plains in scoring this week after putting up 60 points on Syracuse.
Elkhart's dynamic duo of Alex Gomez and Juston Hurn proved to be unstoppable against Southwestern Heights, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gomez threw for 176 yards and 2 touchdowns and Hurn had 103 yards receiving. AJ Mckinley helped Elkhart's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 55 yards.
The Wildcats' dynamic duo of Gomez and Hurn proved tough for the Mustangs to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Hurn was the best wideout in the league this week as Elkhart defeated Southwestern Heights.
Gage McAtee was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 15 carries, he ran for 121 yards as Lakin defeated Matt Scripsick's team. Teammate Robert Aparicio added to the ground attack by rushing for 30 yards.
Gomez put up the best numbers in passing as the Wildcats bested the Mustangs.
Elkhart's Gomez and Hurn have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Hi-Plains in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Gomez has thrown for 445 yards this season, while Hurn has 12 catches for 281 yards. McAtee from the Broncs leads the league in rushing with 245 yards.
The Wildcats are currently in second, while Lakin is in seventh.
The league will see a high scoring game when Elkhart and Jeff Fuss' team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Wildcats comes in having scored 70 this season, while the Broncs have scored 51. Elkhart scored 26 points last week as it beat Southwestern Heights.
Stanton County made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,226 from 10,842. The advance stemmed from a 27-20 victory over Wichita County last week.
