With a big week,
West Bloomfield jumped into the top 25 in the state rankings. West Bloomfield moved up from No. 38 in the state all the way to No. 25 thanks to a 1-1 record over the past week. Led by manager Pat Watson, the Lakers are ranked No. 2,140 in the nation with an overall record of 8-6.
North Farmington had a successful week, as it won two total games to lead Oakland - White. The Raiders beat
Novi 6-3 and
Catholic Central 4-3.
North Farmington's pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only ten hits and seven walks, both of which led the league.
There were three hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. Leading the pack was Alex Darden, who hit .667 by going 2-for-3.
The Raiders'
Alex Darden led the league in strikeouts this week with six. With 36 strikeouts this year so far, he ranks second in the league.
