Fans got a thrill when Daniel Wallace and Zach Combes connected against New Prairie. The longest such play in Northern State this season, the connection resulted in 68 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, the Cougars beat Glenn 56-0. The win marks seventh in a row for the New Prairie.
Glenn's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Wallace has thrown for 404 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Jake Strong has 11 catches for 219 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Jimtown takes on Bremen. As it stands, the Jimmies are in second, while the Lions are in third.
Russ Radtke's team took down the Falcons 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
