After flying high against the Crothersville Tigers last Saturday, the White River Valley Wolverines came back down to earth. White River Valley was outmatched by Sullivan on the road and fell 73-43. White River Valley has struggled against Sullivan recently, as their match on Saturday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Marcus Roshel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sullivan, scoring 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Roshel has scored all season. Cooper Bock was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks.
White River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Sullivan, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White River Valley will take on Owen Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Owen Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Saturday. As for Sullivan, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Brown County at 7:30 p.m.
