Basketball Recap: Keller Extends Winning Streak to Five

Keller came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Keller Central Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 82-68. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-48 back in December of 2024.

Keller had a senior duo take command as Steven Ramirez went 10 of 17 en route to 25 points and six steals and Evan Guerra went 7 for 8 on his way to 19 points and five boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Guerra has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cash Erdmann, who posted eight points.

Keller pushed their record up to 14-11 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Keller Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

Keller will square off against Southlake Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keller has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
