Grafton came out on top against Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Black Hawks took their game against the Chargers 6-3. This was payback for the Black Hawks, who suffered a 9-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Grafton's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Peyton McKinney, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Zachary Plier was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Grafton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Coming up, Grafton is taking a road trip to take on West Bend East at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Black Hawks are facing the Suns at the right time seeing as the Suns are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, they will welcome Hustisford/Dodgeland at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
