After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Green Hill, Mount Juliet was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Beech Buccaneers, sneaking past  3-2. The Golden Bears haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  victory against them.

 Ashlyn Elliott spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Anabella Brewer was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with three  RBI and one  stolen base. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March.  Brookelynn Aldridge was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs.
Mount Juliet's win bumped their record up to 29-10-1. As for Beech,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-12.
 Mount Juliet has already played their next matchup,  a  14-4  loss against Green Hill on the 7th. Beech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
