Cordova will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Rio Linda at 5:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cordova beat Davis 20-14 last Friday.
Meanwhile, it could have been worse for Rio Linda, but it could have been a whole lot better too, as the team fell 20-36 to Pioneer last week.
Cordova's win lifted them to 1-1 while Rio Linda's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Cordova can add another positive mark to their record or if Rio Linda can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Cordova's step.
