It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Glenbrook South ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against the New Trier Trevians by a score of 57-49. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Glenbrook South's victory bumped their record up to 17-12. As for New Trier, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 19-11 record this season.

Glenbrook South and New Trier should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Glenbrook South will square off against Maine East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 342 places (82 vs. 424). Meanwhile, New Trier (ranked 49th) will meet Vernon Hills (ranked 210th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
