The Florence Buffaloes's eight-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 52-29 margin over Sidney.
Leading Florence to victory were Emerson Herring and Kaylie Hamm. Herring scored 18 points, while Hamm scored 17 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Herring has scored at least 25% of Florence's points. Klareece Arldt was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Florence's victory bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Sidney, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Florence's road trip will continue as they head out to face Central Texas Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th. Central Texas Christian's defense has only allowed 26.2 points per game this season, so Florence's offense will have their work cut out for Florence. As for Sidney, they will head out on the road to face off against Bluff Dale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
