The Clarksville Generals can finally bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against Medora by a score of 49-42. That's another feather in the cap for Clarksville, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Clarksville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaylin Lemke, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lemke has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayonna Shirley, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Clarksville's win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14. As for Medora, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Clarksville will head out on the road to face off against Hauser at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Hauser is ranked 362nd, while Clarksville is ranked 347th). As for Medora, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shawe Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
