After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. John Lutheran, Cedar Key was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Meadowbrook Academy Mustangs 22-3. This was payback for the Sharks, who suffered a 19-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cedar Key's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Meadowbrook Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Cedar Key will venture away from home to challenge Wildwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Meadowbrook Academy, they will host Riverside Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
