The Patapsco Patriots will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Catonsville Comets at 5:30 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Patapsco has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while the Comets will arrive with six straight victories.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 52-15, which was the final score in Patapsco's tilt against the Lions on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Patapsco has scored all season.
Kayla Gross was Patapsco's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Gross also led the team in assists with two.
Meanwhile, Catonsville strolled past the Wildcats with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 47-31.
Patapsco's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Catonsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.
