Farmington is 0-3 against Lone Peak since September of 2019 but things could change on the 31st. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 4:00 p.m. Farmington will be strutting in after a win while Lone Peak will be coming in after a loss.
On Wednesday, Farmington strolled past Layton with points to spare, taking the game 26-10. The Phoenix haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Drew Love continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 156 yards and a pair of TDs. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Farmington is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise.
Farmington didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Layton to a completion percentage of just 33.3%. The Phoenix weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 48.4%.
Farmington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Westin Stewart. He has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last four times he's played.
Meanwhile, Lone Peak faced Lehi in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Thursday. The Knights had to suffer through a 34-6 loss at the hands of the Pioneers. It was the first time this season that the Knights let down their fans at home.
Even if they lost, Lone Peak's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Cubby Hoyal, Tate King, and Tagg Zundel, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Lone Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Farmington, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Farmington was taken down by Lone Peak 34-7 in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Phoenix avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
