River Ridge's and Key West's game on Friday was close at halftime, but River Ridge turned on the heat in the second half with 27 points. The Royal knights took their contest against Key West by a conclusive 34-6 score. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Royal knights had established a 28-6 advantage.
The win was the sixth in a row for River Ridge and raised their record to 8-2. Key West's loss makes it three in a row and drags their record down to 5-5.
River Ridge will be playing at home against Atlantic at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday. As for Key West, they will go up against American Heritage at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Conchs are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
