Having just played yesterday, the Juarez Eagles will jump right back in to play the Golder Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
On Thursday, Juarez had to suffer through a rough 67-16 loss at the hands of Morgan Park Academy. Juarez has not had much luck with Morgan Park Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-18, which was the final score in Golder's tilt against Morgan Park Academy on Wednesday. Golder has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Juarez's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Golder, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Juarez against Golder in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 49-14 win. Will Juarez repeat their success, or does Golder have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
