Preston has gone 6-1 against Bear Lake recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Indians are taking a road trip to take on the Bears at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bear Lake will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Preston extended their winning streak to six on Friday. Everything went the Indians' way against Marsh Valley as they made off with a 14-4 victory.

Tylee Archibald
| 04/24/26 @ Marsh Valley | 6 |
| 04/17/26 @ South Fremont | 5 |
| 04/01/26 vs Snake River | 6 |
Tylee Archibald made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since April 1st. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Preston let Brielle Biggs and Averie Madsen run wild. Biggs went a perfect 5-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles, while Madsen went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits Biggs has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Tess Jones, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Preston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marsh Valley only posted a batting average of .281.
Meanwhile, Bear Lake got the win against West Side on Saturday by a conclusive 11-1. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won six in a row.
Lindsay Fisher made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Fisher was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run.
In other batting news, Brielle Romrell was excellent, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four stolen bases, and five RBI. Abby Humpherys was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Preston's record is now 19-1. As for Bear Lake, their record now sits at 18-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Preston has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bear Lake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Preston came out on top in a nail-biter against Bear Lake when the teams last played on April 10th, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
