Meanwhile, Shenandoah got the win against Rushville on Tuesday by a conclusive 23-17. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Shenandoah got a massive performance out of Ethan Taylor, who scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all seven of his plate appearances. That's the most runs Taylor has posted since back in April of 2024. Collin Osenbaugh was another key player, going 5-for-6 with five runs, two triples, and one RBI.
Shenandoah was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .475. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rushville only posted a batting average of .257.
Centerville might still be hurting after the 15-5 defeat they got from Shenandoah when the teams last played back in May of 2023. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
