The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won 13 matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
The team  relied heavily on  Paige Conroy, who  went 4-for-5 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and three  runs. Those  six  RBI gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madi Bidwell, who  got on base  in two of her five plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Shorecrest Prep  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in four consecutive  games.
Shorecrest Prep's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-6. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Northside Christian,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 11-9.
 Coming up, Shorecrest Prep will face off against Neumann at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Chargers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Celtics have averaged an impressive 8.4  runs per game this season. Northside Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
