Olivia Ferrari was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring five runs and stealing a base while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. Those five runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Jessica Young was incredible, going 4-for-5 with eight RBI, three doubles, and two runs. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Aria Davis was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
La Salle was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .568. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
