3A/2A Waccamaw recap Nov. 7, 2012
East Bladen extended the longest winning streak in 3A/2A Waccamaw this week by beating Whiteville, 28-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
West Brunswick led the league in scoring this week after putting up 33 points on West Brunswick.
West Bladen's Zack Wilcox and Malcolm Vaught have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wilcox has thrown for 1801 yards this season, while Vaught has 87 catches for 1186 yards. The Trojans' Khalil Gause leads the league in rushing yards with 1126.
South Brunswick made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,735 from 10,498. The improvement was the result of 28-14 victory over the Cougars last week.
