Basketball Recap: Crawford Gets the Win

Crawford won the last time they faced Mar Vista and things went their way on Friday too. The Colts came out on top against the Mariners by a score of 55-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Despite the defeat, Mar Vista saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Braylon ?Cheetah? Shumate posted 20 points. ?Cheetah? Shumate's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Xzarion DODDY was another key player, putting up ten points.

Crawford's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Mar Vista, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Coincidentally, Crawford and Mar Vista will both be playing Preuss UCSD the next time they take the court. The Mariners will head out to face the Tritons at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Colts will play them later in the day, at 3:30 p.m.
