St. John had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the Beau Chene Gators as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Eagles have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

St. John's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Beau Chene, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-15 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John will welcome Livonia at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Beau Chene, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Bell City at 4:00 p.m.
