Honesdale kept up with Western Wayne until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Wildcats blew past the Hornets 6-2. It was an even better day for Jacob Wells as he scored four goals for his team.

Western Wayne has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matchups. As for Honesdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Western Wayne and Honesdale will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats are set to take on their familiar foe Mid Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Honesdale will face off against rival Wallenpaupack Area at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
