With a playoff game on the line, the Colleyville Heritage Panthers rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past Cooper 55-21 on the road. The win was nothing new for Colleyville Heritage as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Colleyville Heritage was led to victory by Braden Blueitt and Luke Ullrich. Blueitt picked up 146 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Ullrich threw for 286 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes.
Cooper's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Bray, who rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. Another player making a difference was Christian Rico, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Colleyville Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Cooper, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Colleyville Heritage is on the road again on Friday and play against Argyle at 6:00 p.m. on November 24th. Argyle is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Cooper does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
