Basketball Recap: Clinton School's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Clinton School had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.7 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They breezed by Bard to the tune of 53-13. Clinton School has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 29 points or more this season.

Clinton School had a senior duo take command as Kate Stanley posted 18 points and Alessandra Stotz dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards. The match was Stanley's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Ivy Visser was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Clinton School smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games.

Clinton School's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Bard, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
