The Stratford Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight loss. They fell 65-52 to Wando. Stratford has not had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Omar Sheppard, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Kristion Swift was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Stratford has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Wando, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.
Stratford will head out on the road to square off against the Stags at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wando, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Gators at 7:30 p.m. Goose Creek is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
