McKinley Tech narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Dunbar 55-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trainers have posted against the Crimson Tide since February 26, 2019.

McKinley Tech's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from DaMontae Neclos, who posted 15 points and five rebounds. The contest was Neclos' eighth in a row with at least ten points. Keith Robertson was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Meanwhile, Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 68-55 to Capital City Public Charter School. One positive for the Panthers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

McKinley Tech has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
