It was fun while it lasted, but Blountstown's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Holmes County Blue Devils and fell 74-47. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Blountstown lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cyianna Smith, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 14 points and five rebounds. Smith is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Jaharra Pennywell was another key player, putting up eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Blountstown fell to 5-1. As for Holmes County, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
