Lima Senior had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They managed a 53-47 victory over the Wayne Trace Raiders. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 42-34 loss the last time these two teams met.

Lima Senior's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Wayne Trace, they moved to 4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Lima Senior and Wayne Trace's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Lima Senior and Start (who has only given up 24 points per game) will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Wayne Trace will square off against Crestview at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, a squad that's only allowed 25.8 points per game.
