The Elma Eagles fell victim to the Montesano Bulldogs''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Bulldogs, falling 49-0. Elma just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Carter Studer threw for 101 yards on ten of 25 attempts. Jackson Schneider was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards.
Elma now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Montesano, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Elma will head out on the road to face off against La Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. La Center will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Montesano will take on Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stevenson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Montesano is ranked 54th).
