Sandwich's loss dropped their record down to 7-24. As for Mendota, their victory  ended  a  15-match drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 6-27-1.
 Sandwich does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mendota, they will square off against Newman Central Catholic at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. The last three games the Comets have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
